We had a memorable culinary experience at this hotel's restaurant. The delicately prepared and artfully presented dishes were beyond our expectations. The wine pairing was spot-on and generous. Definitely one of the best in my life! The bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water, and the bedroom had a comfortable bed.

The fine cooking, but not on this occasion
We stayed at this simple village hotel at the same time last year and had a wonderful meal. Despite the rooms being very basic, we decided, once again, to make this our last stop on a tour of Europe. When we arrived, we were told that the restaurant was always closed on a Tuesday and no food or drink could be provided. We were told that an e-mail had been sent to warn us, but no e-mail from the hotel has ever been received. We were told that the local restaurant was open but we found that this too was shut. This is a fairly remote village and we had no option but to leave and, late in the evening, find an alternative hotel in the nearest city. Hardly what we expected.

Our stay in this charming hotel in a beautiful village surrounded by vineyards was unforgettable. The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and arranged a delicious dinner for us on a night when the restaurant was closed. Speaking of dinner, the food was exquisite both in the Michelin starred restaurant and in the 2 star Michelin restaurant nearby. The breakfast was also excellent, served with crisp linen in a cozy setting. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was well-maintained with great shower facilities. the hotel had lovely facilities and a great view of the surrounding area.
Although the village was beautiful, April was not the ideal time to visit due to the off-season.

The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was an outstanding and memorable experience. The extensive number of courses and exquisite flavors made it truly remarkable. The service was warm and welcoming, adding to the overall enjoyable stay. The location in the region of Beaujolais wine production and the inspiration from the humorous novel added to the charm. We also appreciated the hidden gem of a bar in the square. I highly recommend this hotel.

One of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed at. Very comfortable with wonderful views. The hotel restaurant's menu was not inspring, but there is a good restaurant about 100 meters away.

Very clan, good location, pretty hotel with English speaking, excellent staff.
We arrived very late so did not have a time for changing outfits. Then we discover that shorts were not much appropriate for such a dinner. All service was very nice in high standard, but maybe even too high. I did not find it cosy. And the biggest suprise was the size of dinner. Was smaller than I could ever imagine. Just not what we were after.

This hotel is a gem in a picturesque village in Beaujolais. Our room was compact, clean and comfortable at a reasonable cost.We did not take breakfast as we had to leave early. The hidden secret is the restaurant for dinner. It is 5 star luxury. The chef is outstanding and produced a superb menu of gourmet food. This together with the local wine made a perfect evening. We will definetly stay there again.

I recently stayed at Auberge De Clochemerle in the heart of Beaujolais vineyards for a relaxing weekend getaway. The village where the hotel is located is absolutely stunning and surrounded by picturesque vineyards. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food, which was exquisite. The breakfast was individually prepared and of a good standard, and the dinner at the restaurant was absolutely amazing. The staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The comfortable bed and beautiful views of the vineyards from the rooms added to the overall charm of the hotel. The location was also convenient, with a nearby supermarket providing all the provisions needed for picnics and other activities. it was a fantastic base for exploring the Beaujolais wine region.
Can recommend this hotel.
